There is plenty of places to live like that in this world. And there cheap to live there. The question is how long will you survive there without putting a bullit in your head because its such a miserable place to exist.

@JayT – You’re giving the same arguments against prostitution that one would give in support of the repeal of prohibition of drugs, but you’re talking about two very different things.

Schedule I drugs, including Cocaine, Heroin, PCP, and Marijuana, are not readily available in most states without going through underground, criminal channels. Due to this fact, legalizing them would affect the underground operations with devastating impact.

Sex, on the other hand, is not limited to underground and illegal channels, unless, of course, you’re looking at illegal sex acts, i.e. bestiality or pedophilia. No legalization of prostitution will ever include legalizing sex acts against children or animals. Given this, the human traffickers who bring children from other countries in order to sell them for forced prostitution would still continue to do so because there would remain no legal outlet for that illegal activity. The legalization of prostitution would not deter them in any way. On the contrary, it would likely make it easier for them to find loopholes to cover their illegal acts and increase the amount of adult human trafficking that occurs because there would be no busts of the adult brothels that would spring up and the women involved would remain as powerless to pay off the traffickers and escape the forced prostitution.

Why is this nation so against an industry where a woman can choose to have sex for money or not? A woman can choose to have an abortion, why not consensual sex for money? If there was more legal prostitution, then it would all but end human trafficking and forced prostitution and other situations where women were forced into the industry.
